Wolves at Christmas Home Decor and Gifts

Wolves at Christmas is a product design that I created from an original collage that I put together in 2015. The collage consists of 52 overlays. The winter wonderland background of snow-covered trees is a cutout of the trees in my side yard.

The photograph was taken after a snowstorm and the sun had just come out which lends to the glistening appearance. Then I took photographs of snow and cut them out to add to my collage. Each overlay was added digitally. From start to finish it took me 12 hours to complete. I think think the wolves at Christmas design is beautiful.

Here is a set that will show you a few of my wolf designs.
See all home decor and fashion below

Wolves at Christmas color scheme is blue and silver with touches of snowflakes. This color combination will coordinate well with a blue holiday home.  You can accent the sofa with the 16-inch square pillow and add the wolf ornament to your holiday tree. Wrap your presents in the beautiful Christmas wolf pattern paper and your holiday living space will look lovely.

I hope you love this unique collage art design and that you buy it for yourself or as a gift for that special someone. Know that when you buy any of these products you will be supporting independent artists and not a big box store.

Thank you for stopping by and for taking interest in my original collage art. Below is my collection of  Wolves at Christmas holiday home decor and gifts.

White Christmas Decorating Ideas

When it comes to decorating my home for Christmas I usually do a traditional tree with the colors of red and green.  This tree will be set up in my den. For the main house where family and friends gather I will decorate with a white theme with the colors of winter white, silver, gold, and accents of balsam green.

Many people think that a white Christmas theme as being nontraditional in comparison to the classic red and green. When I explain to them that the white represents the snow, the silver the ice, and the green on the tree is the forest they see the beauty in the holiday decorations.

The white Christmas decorations can be used in a rustic or cottage-style home by adding pinecones that are tipped with white, then dusted with silver glitter. Then create some rustic grapevine wreaths with balsam greenery, pinecones, and a white with a silver trimmed bow.

Use this wreath on your front door to welcome guests to your home. Continue with adding a pine cone and balsam tree branches as a centerpiece for the coffee table or dining table. The pine cones will make your décor feel cozier.

Here are some table runners that feature a white Christmas silver snowflake pattern.

Here are some white Christmas decorating ideas for your living areas.
  • Decorate your living room by draping a balsam garland on your fireplace mantle and also add it to the railing of your staircase.
  • Fill apothecary jars with silver or white ornaments and feature them on top of the mantle, coffee table, and foyer tables.
  • Drape crystal-like garland over the balsam garland. The sparkle will glisten in the light and will look stunning.
  • For your coffee table make or buy a balsam centerpiece with white pine cones that are dipped in silver glitter
  • Clear the foyer or side table, then cover it with a snowflake and white pattern tablecloth. The white will represent freshly fallen snow. Arrange the apothecary jars, votive candles, or balsam arrangement on top of the table.
  • Slipcovers for your sofa are a good way to conceal a color that does not go with your White Christmas theme. Then add a variety of throw pillows and your sofa will look so cozy.

Gift Ideas / Ceramic Christmas Coffee Mugs

Shopping for that special gift for your friend, coworker, or neighbor does not need to be expensive. You can buy them a decorative Christmas coffee mug and personalize it with their name or your own text. Personalized mugs always make thoughtful gifts.

This week I have been busy designing a variety of mugs at my online store and find that I prefer the white ceramic mugs because the uploaded photograph or artwork has wonderful color and clarity. Even when I upload graphics the results are the same.  The bright white ceramic mug is quality made and looks fabulous.

When it comes to drinking a hot beverage from a mug I prefer ceramic over plastic. I like the way the coffee mugs feel in my hand and the weight is not too heavy. I love the stoneware mugs that the Pioneer Women have but find that they are too heavy.

So if you like ceramic mugs that are not heavy then I would recommend that you check out the decorative Christmas mugs at Zazzle.

If you want to make your mug gift extra special then buy colored cellophane bags at Walmart and fill them up with wrapped chocolates, cookies, or other small candies. Then close the bag with a bow. Put the bag of sweet treats inside the mug.

Zazzle Christmas Tree Skirts

Zazzle is a print-on-demand website that sells a variety of products; clothing, office supplies, home décor, and seasonal decorations such as Christmas tree skirts in brushed polyester, faux linen, and coral fleece.
What I like about the tree skirts is that you can buy from a variety of designs that were created by artists or you can make your own by uploading a photograph or your own artwork.
The Christmas tree skirt is a good way to conceal the tree stand and dress up the look of your holiday tree. It is customary to set your wrapped presents under the tree, these gifts would be arranged on the Christmas skirt.
Here is a photograph of my tabletop tree. The skirt is white (like snow)

The tree skirt compliments your Christmas Decorations.

When it comes to choosing a tree skirt I recommend that you choose one that will complement your Christmas theme and the colors of your ornaments. Red or green colors are popular, also gold and silver prints. There are many tree skirts to choose from I am sure there is one that is perfect for your holiday home décor.
If you are someone who likes to coordinate and do a color match then you may want to shop at the Zazzle Designers store which features a variety of products using the same pattern as the tree skirt. You may want to match the tree skirt up with
Many times the Zazzle designer features the same design used on the tree skirt an ornament, ribbon, and gift wrapping paper. How wonderful to be able to coordinate the tree skirt with the matching Christmas decorations.
When you shop for your Christmas decorations and tree skirts at Zazzle you will be supporting small businesses because the artist that created the product earns a royalty on their designs. You will also be shopping for unique products that cannot be bought anywhere else. So no worries about your friends having the same tree skirt or other Christmas decorations.
Here are a few Christmas tree skirts with matching accessories. If you like any of them and want to view them in high resolution please click on the highlighted words below the image and this will take you to the designer's online store.

Christmas Decorating Ideas for Living Room

I accepted a Christmas home decorating contract yesterday and even though the holiday season is months away I am brainstorming decorating ideas for this assignment.

My client has requested a winter wonderland theme and I think the decorations will be perfect for her holiday parties.  Here is a white Christmas home set that I designed to show my client. Know that these digital designs are a good way to communicate your ideas to your customer.

Do you love the pillow that was designed by The Silver Snowflake?  I featured the designer's pillow on the chair in the home set.   You can view or buy this pillow at zazzle.com.

Here are some Christmas décor ideas for living room

  1. Decorate your living room by draping a pre-lit balsam garland on your fireplace mantle and also add to the railing of your staircase.
  2. Fill 12 apothecary jars with silver ornaments and feature a few on top of the mantle, coffee table, and foyer tables.
  3. Drape iridescent beads over the balsam garland. The sparkle from the beads will glisten in the light and will look stunning.
  4. Add a flocked balsam centerpiece with white pine cones that are tipped with silver glitter to your dining table to pull the white Christmas theme together.
  5. Clear the coffee table, then cover the table with a white damask Christmas tablecloth. If the tablecloth is too long to gather the bottom of the tablecloth and fold under.  This will give the bottom a pouf appearance.
  6. Arrange the apothecary jars, votive candles or balsam arrangement on top of the coffee table. Or you can set a silver tray in the center of the coffee table, then arrange an assortment of large medium, small and white candles with clear glass or crystal holders on top of the tray. Accent this arrangement with silver ornaments and sprigs of fresh balsam from your Christmas tree.
  7. Add touches of crystal prisms to the coffee table and the mantle as this will make the display sparkle.

When the sofa and chairs are not complementary to the Christmas theme you can remedy the problem by buying or making sofa or chair covers. Choose a fabric pattern and color that will compliment the winter white theme. Sofa covers are a great way to pull the room together so all furniture looks like it was made for your holiday theme.

Add coziness to your living room with throw pillows.  Here are some lovely white Christmas pillows that would compliment a winter white theme living room.  These elegant pillows were found at zazzle.com
