Watercolor Painted Hand Towels

Watercolor-painted hand towels always add a cozy ambiance to your powder room. They are the perfect size for adult hands or for cleaning up a toddler's face and hands.  I use hand towels in all my bathrooms and I also use them in the kitchen for a quick cleanup for my toddler niece. The size and soft texture of the hand towel are perfect for a baby.

Today I was shopping for a housewarming gift for a friend who loved to garden. I thought I would give her a matching set of floral pattern hand towels.  I shopped at the mall for specialty hand towels but did not find anything remotely close to the watercolor hand towels at Zazzle.com.  

I searched for watercolor hand towels and found a variety of designer towels.  I learned that all towels were created from a photograph of the designer's original painting, then they uploaded that photo to their Zazzle store so they could create the lovely watercolor floral hand towels.

Cottage Style Floral Print Bath Towels

Recently I designed bath towels with a vintage-style floral print for a customer's cottage-style bathroom. The bathroom color scheme was light gray with white trim, and the décor was shabby chic so the feminine floral print was complimentary.

My customer informed me that when she shopped locally or at online stores but all she could find were solid gray bath towels and she wanted bath towels with a delicate vintage-style flower pattern. 

Know that when I get customer requests I tend to work on the design diligently. Many times I will work straight through until the design is completed and links are sent to the customer. I am happy to say that the customer did buy one of my bath towel set designs.

I am grateful to my customer because she gave me the opportunity to create a design for her cottage theme bathroom and she made me realize that gray was a color that is in demand. I learned that most shops in town offer solid color gray towels and it is really hard to find a gray pattern and impossible to find pastel flowers on gray towels.

 Know that specialty towels that allow you to personalize with a monogram are a thoughtful bridal shower or housewarming gift for that special someone.

Here are a few towels that would complement the Shabby Chic, cottage, or Victorian bathroom theme. Towels are shown as a set of three, however, you may buy them separately.  

Many towels are customizable, you can change the background color, and add your own design, and monogram.

Wayfair Product Review - Bath Accessories

When it comes time to shop for home decor products I prefer to shop online, but when my favorite stores did not have what I was looking for, I decided to shop at a new website; Wayfair.com.  I had read several excellent reviews on the store and since they were having a sale, I thought why not check it out. The website design is very nice, and finding what I need was easy.  There was a variety of bathroom accessories and all were very good quality. 

I was shopping for a bath set for my guest bathroom I found Amrapur Egyptian cotton towel set that featured 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, and 2 washcloths.  When it comes to bath towels I prefer 100% Egyptian cotton towels because the weave is twisted to absorb the water quickly and also this enables the towel to dry fast. Plus the asking price was fabulous; the original price was $165. for these designer towels, the sale price was reduced by 85%. I bought 2 sets and got free shipping.

Know that the towels that I bought were not the fancy pattern but the blue set would compliment the theme of my bathroom perfectly. I am very satisfied with my bath accessory purchase. The quality of the towels was excellent, and the sale price was fabulous.
